Inside the dorm/administration/dining hall.
The men & women in the picture are the newest
class.  They'd only been there for 6 days.  We
got to see their noon formation as they assembled
for lunch.  It was quite impressive.  It was about 95 and
humid.  We felt bad for those poor kids standing out
there in those uniforms.

National Archives- We saw the original Declaration of
Independence, Bill of Rights, and the Constitution, along
with many other documents.  It was pretty amazing!

Smithsonian Castle.  Now an information building, but 1 of the
oldest buildings in DC.

Washington Monument with part of the
300,000+ crowd waiting for fireworks.
It was about 100 and humid, but it was
very organized and secure.

The fireworks were awesome.  Because of the heat,
we almost considered not fighting the crowd
to see them on the National Mall. So glad we did!
