Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island

We found Bob's grandfather's name, Oscar Carlson, who came to the US from Sweden, on The American Immigrant wall of  Honor.
Ellis Island US Immigration Station

We also found Bob's grandmother- Minnie Carlson.

Manhattan- New York Skyline.  The new World Trade Center is the tallest building on the left.

The American Immigrant Wall of honor. There are approx. 550,000 names on these walls of people who passed through Ellis Island.   There have been about 25 million people who've come through Ellis Island from 1892 - 1954, so it was pretty awesome to find Bob's grandparents included on the wall.
